Privacy Policy for uptakeAI

1. Introduction

Welcome to uptakeAI. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we handle and use your personal information and your rights in relation to that information.

We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office. Reference: ZB721992.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Contact information. We collect your name, email address, and other contact details when you interact with our services.
  • Usage data. Information on how you use our website and services.
  • Technical data. This includes your IP address, browser type, and version, which are collected for maintenance and improvement of our services.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to:

  • Provide our services to you.
  • Communicate with you about updates or enquiries.
  • Enhance our website and tailor content to you.
  • Ensure the security of our service.

4. Sharing your data

We do not share your personal data with third parties except as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.

Our GDPR Statement sets out how we meet our obligations in more detail.

5. Data security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorised access or data breaches.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page.

8. Cookies and tracking

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, how people arrive and how long they stay. It only runs if you choose Accept on the cookie banner. If you choose Reject, or make no choice, no analytics cookies are set.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) so it can recognise a returning browser. Google signals is switched off, so your visits are not linked to a Google account, and we do not use the data for advertising. Google keeps the data for no more than 14 months.

Your choice is stored in your browser so the banner does not keep reappearing. You can change it at any time through Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Typefaces are served from our own domain rather than a third-party font service, so loading a page does not make a request to another company.

The PRISM Portrait self-assessment is anonymous. Responses are not linked to any enquiry you make, and no email address is included with a submitted response.

Where section 2 refers to technical and usage data, this means standard server records such as IP address and browser version, retained for maintenance and security rather than for profiling.
